Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT

All reservations require credit card details to secure bookings and payment will be charged upon check out.
Transaction Currency AUD. All on-line credit card charges will be processed in AUD.
During peak season, 100% prepayment is required upon confirmation.
A 1.5% surcharge will apply to the total amount for payment  made by VISA,  MASTERCARD and American Express AMEX credit cards. We do not accept Diners Cards.

CANCELLATIONS

*** Peak Travel Dates being Australian Spring and Summer School Holidays, Easter Holidays and Christmas and New Year Day holidays***

Kingfisher Published Rates and Kingfisher Year Round Packages (Off Peak Travel)

  • Bookings made and/or cancelled more than 15 days prior to arrival will receive full refund.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled more than 5 days, less than 15 days prior to arrival will be charge with the average total value of 1 night accommodation rate or the average of 1 night of the total value of the package.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled less than 5 days of arrival, no refund will be given.

Kingfisher Published Rates and Kingfisher Packages (Peak Travel)

  • Bookings made and/or cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive full refund.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled more than 15 days, less than 30 days prior to arrival will be charge with the average total value of 1 night accommodation rate or the average of 1 night of the total value of the package.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled less than 15 days of arrival, no refund will be given.

Rate of the Day, Stay Longer Pay less Internet Special and Promotional Packages

  • Rate of the Day and Internet Stay Longer Pay Less Special and/or any Promotional Packages may only be available for direct online bookings.
  • Rates shown in these categories may subject to changes at any time and can be only be guaranteed upon confirmation at the time of booking.
  • Percentage of discount, when applicable to rates and packages, (i.e. Stay Longer Pay Less Internet Special) may vary by days/dates at any time.
  • Room rates, package rates and inclusions confirmed at the time of booking cannot be amended unless there is a change of arrival/departure dates.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled more than 15 days prior to arrival will be charge with the average total value of 1 night accommodation rate or the average of 1 night of the total value of the package.
  • Bookings made and/or cancelled less than 15 days of arrival, no refund will be given.

Best Available Rate (Internet Special Rate)

  • Best Available Rate or Internet Special Rates may only be available for direct online bookings.
  • Best Available Rate cannot be used with any other hot deals and/or other special campaign promotions and inclusions.
  • No refunds upon cancellation, no modifications upon confirmation of bookings on this rate category.

No Shows

  • No refunds if there is no show on the day of arrival/ check in. Full value of booking will be charged.

Enhancements, package inclusions and tours

  • Prior to arrival day, cancellation policies for any enhancement items, package inclusions and/or tour services apply as per rate categories stated above.
  • Enhancement items and package inclusions not utlised are non-refundable
  • Once arrival at the resort, there will be no refunds for cancellation of tour services booked as part of the enhancement items and/or package inclusions  unless a tour service is cancelled by resort management due to tide and/or weather conditions .
  • No refunds will be given for any tour services booked witinin 24 hours of tour departure date or failure to board the tour.

PRE - TRANSFER INFORMATION

To ensure that sufficient time is available for ticketing, luggage collection and vehicle parking please arrive at your transfer point (Urangan Boat Harbour for passenger ferry or River Heads for vehicle ferry) approximately 45 minutes prior to your departure time.

PORTERAGE, LUGGAGE HANDLING &  WEIGHT POLICY

  • Due to Australian Workplace Health & Safety requirements, the maximum acceptable weight for any single piece of luggage is 25 kgs.
  • Bags weighing 20+ kgs will be tagged with a fluoro tag to indicate heavy luggage and that care must be taken when handling.
  • Where guests are required to pack down luggage over 25 kgs, bags are available for sale from the Mainland Terminal.
  • Each guest may check-in free of charge two (2) items of luggage each piece weighing no more than 25 kgs.
  • Additional items to be checked-in will incur a handling fee of $10.00 per item.
  • Where guests refuse to pack down or are not happy to pay excess charges for luggage over 25 kgs, the guest will be asked to carry their own luggage at all transportation points: on and off boat/s; along jetty; to accommodation and repeat all procedures at departure time.

CARING FOR WHEELCHAIR-BOUND GUESTS DURING THE TRANSPORT PROCESS

For their safety, wheelchair-bound guests will travel on barges rather than ferries/catamaran. Wheelchair-bound passengers may book their vehicle onto the barge at the same rate as the Ferry/Catamaran Transfers (i.e. ferry transfer rate x number of guests travelling).

Should they not have a vehicle, we will provide transport from River Heads in one of our vehicles on the barge and unload them at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check In at the resort is from 2:00 PM on day of arrival. Departing guests are asked to vacate rooms by 10:00 AM on day of departure.

All prices and inclusions are subject to change without notice. Seasonal variations apply. Package inclusions not used are not refundable.
