Brought to you by the Hervey Bay Boat Club Yacht Squadrom, the Kingfisher Bay Resort Regatta is open to all trailer sailors, keeled yachts and promises a fun-filled few days out on the gorgeous Great Sandy Strait.

Races generally start at 10am for interested spectators. Two races will be sailed on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 and the trophy presentation will be held on the Sunday evening (the 24th) at the resort’s Sand Bar. A fun handicap race will be held on the last day from Kingfisher Bay Resort to Urangan, marking the final event in the regatta.
Competitors may choose to stay on their yachts, anchored in front of the resort and the Sand Bar and amenities will be available for all competitors to use. Discounted accommodation is available for competitors.
