This is an educational field trip with a difference!  Seventy-six talented songsters and musicians from Brisbane-based St Thomas More College will be taking full advantage of the Centre Complex's acoustics this winter, with a stunning vocal and instrumental performance for resort guests in the lead up to the Maryborough Eisteddfod.

1 AUG - late OCT:  Fraser Island’s traditional Butchulla people knew a thing or two when it came to naming some of the landmark spots on Fraser’s western beach. Awinya Creek translates to ‘whale tail’ and Wathumba Creek, slightly to the north means ‘where the whales blow’.  NEWSFLASH - you can now swim with the whales as soccer superstar, Harry Kewell, found out recently.
