Forget the North Pole, North White Cliffs on Fraser Island is the place if you want to take advantage of Queensland's balmy summer nights and party poolside with us at the resort. The Christmas party season kicks off in early November (until mid December) and we offer fabulous party packages from as little as $55 per person.
December 25 is just not the same without Santa - this year the 'great' man will be arriving at the resort by Rural Fire Brigade Truck... we call it Christmas Day the Fraser Island way! And if you don't fancy Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, perhaps you'd prefer to spend your Christmas Day outdoors on the world's largest sand island - so why not book a full day tour and explore Fraser! It's also a great stocking filler!
Fresh seafood will be the order of Christmas Day with the resort’s chefs giving their traditional festive menus the Fraser Island touch. The resort's signature Seabelle restaurant, popular restaurant Maheno, the Dingo Deck (outdoors and poolside) and Kingfisher Ballroom will serve up a traditional seafood selection and the freshest local produce during their Christmas celebrations.
Prawns, oysters and crabs and turkey roulade will adorn the Christmas buffet along with a carved honey ham with rum and ginger glaze, slow-roasted rib eye fillet and a mouth-watering selection of delicious salads and sides. The tropical festive fare continues with a Christmas trifle, lemon tart, chocolate mud cake and cheese platter dessert offering.
Christmas Day lunch sittings start from 11.30am. Ferries, shuttle services from Urangan and lunch venues fill up faster than Santa's Christmas stockings, so book now to avoid disappointment. Some conditions apply.
HEADED OUR WAY ON CHRISTMAS DAY? PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE SAILING SCHEDULE
December 25: We will run a revised sailing schedule for our vehicle/passenger from River Heads to Kingfisher Bay and return (approximately a 50 minute crossing). Watch this space! As soon as dates/times are finalised, we'll let you know.
