Christmas comes but once a year, and there's no excuse for planning early to ensure your 2013 Christmas is exactly as you want it. The team at Kingfisher Bay Resort are on hand to take the ‘hard work’ out of your pre-Christmas parties and Christmas Day lunch... but if you want to join in the fun, we'd suggest you book your venue and ferry soon to avoid disappointment.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES ON GORGEOUS FRASER ISLAND
Forget the North Pole, North White Cliffs on Fraser Island is the place if you want to take advantage of Queensland's balmy summer nights and party poolside with us at the resort. The Christmas party season kicks off in early November (until mid December) and we offer fabulous party packages from as little as $55 per person. We're flexible with your group size, have a range of party and accommodation packages and venues and our Special Events team are on hand to make the night run smoothly... after all 'tis the season to be jolly. *Conditions apply.
December 25 is just not the same without Santa - this year the 'great' man will be arriving at the resort by Rural Fire Brigade Truck... we call it Christmas Day the Fraser Island way! There's also great Junior Eco Rangers for the kids, live entertainment and if you don't fancy Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, perhaps you'd prefer to spend your Christmas Day outdoors on the world's largest sand island - so why not book a full day tour and explore Fraser! It's also a great stocking filler!
Fresh seafood, and lots of it, will be the order of Christmas Day with the resort’s chefs giving their traditional festive menus the Fraser Island touch. The resort's signature Seabelle restaurant, popular buffet restaurant Maheno, the Maheno Lounge, the Dingo Deck (outdoors and poolside) and Kingfisher Ballroom will serve up a traditional seafood selection and the freshest local produce during their Christmas celebrations.
King prawns and antipasto dishes will adorn the Christmas buffet along with a baked ham and a mouth-watering selection of continental meats and vegies. The tropical festive fare continues with an assortment of gateaux and tortee, tropical fruit and a cheese platter.
For those wanting to soak up the sun and casual atmosphere of island living – The beachside Sand Bar offers a carvery menu featuring traditional favourites with fresh garden salads and desserts... and all with stunning summer views of the Great Sandy Strait and refreshing pools.
Ferries and lunch venues fill up faster than Santa's Christmas stockings, so book now to avoid disappointment.
There will also be live entertainment in the Maheno lounge - where the resort's Atrium soaks up the sound and produces great festive acoustics. Christmas Day lunch sittings start from 11.30am and menus between venues differ slightly. Bookings are essential on 1800 072 555. Some conditions apply.
