Kingfisher Bay Resort - Fraser Island Accommodation

Maheno Restaurant

On Fraser Island, early risers can sleep in, walk with the birds or wake with a morning coffee in Maheno. A selection of hearty and healthy breakfast options provide the energy needed for the day’s exploring. Choose from tea and toast, a continental breakfast or a full buffet and, if you're booking direct, ask us about discounts (or check enhancements if you're booking on this site) for pre-purchased breakfasts.

As lunchtime rolls round, the sun-dappled waters of the resort pool and surrounding wallum scrub set the scene for a leisurely afternoon on the deck of the Maheno Restaurant with the family.

The restaurant’s casual atmosphere also allows one to grab an island cocktail from the Lounge or Pool Bars and watch the live entertainment, before dinning deck-side or inside. Guests can relax with a coldie or a glass of red over dinner and take time to soak up the sounds of Fraser Island.  Maheno operates a buffet breakfast menu; an al a carte snack and lunch menu and alternates between buffet, buffet-carte and a table d'hote during different times of the year - please check with reception staff on arrival.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make these improvements.
