Stick to designated trails and roads to prevent erosion and protect fragile flora and fauna.

It's important to be Dingo safe when leaving the secure fencing around Kingfisher Bay Resort. Never feed or approach dingoes and native animals, as this disrupts their natural behavior. Keep children close, stay calm if you see a dingo, and walk in small groups for safety.

Endeavour to use zinc-based sunscreens that are safer for the natural environment. Alternatively, apply sunscreen and insect repellent only after swimming to keep lakes and creeks clean. Avoid using soaps or detergents in natural water sources.

Do not remove or introduce plants to the island. Observe fire bans and respect the natural surroundings.

K’gari holds significant spiritual and cultural sites. Please explore with care and avoid any damaging or disrespectful behaviour.
