Ranger-Guided Night Spotlighting

We'll turn the spotlight on the weird and wonderful...

Take a guided walk after dark, looking for the sights and sounds of our unique and rare, nocturnal wildlife, as we learn how they survive on Fraser Island.

As darkness falls, Fraser Island’s natives come out to play under the starry sky...we never know quite what we see, but we have fun trying to spot our nocturnal neighbours.

On this Ranger-guided night walk you may turn the spotlight on rare acid frogs and insectivorous bats as they go about their nightly business around the resort’s lakes.

You could also spot Sugar Gliders as they trapeze their way through the trees and identify the animals behind the rustles in the wallum or down by the water's edge.

Book and meet at reception. Please make sure you wear appropriate footwear.

Times vary according to the season, so please check our What's On Guide for details.
