As we reflect on 2017, what better place to relax, recharge, and set some resolutions for the year ahead, than on Fraser Island. Ring in 2018, this New Year's Eve in true island style, at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

Start the evening off with a celebratory cocktail or glass of bubbles and a tasty platter at the Sunset Bar, as you bask in the sunset glow.

Resort house guests will be able to welcome the New Year in spectacular style, with specially curated restaurant menus.

Our award-winning Seabelle restaurant is offering a four-course degustation, with matching wines or beers - $130pp.

Or for those desiring a delicious seafood buffet with carvery, head to the Maheno Restaurant for $79pp, with kids at half price. Afterwards, guests can choose to kick-on at the Maheno Lounge with some cocktail specials, or by dancing the night away to the sounds of our in-house DJ.

Our Junior Eco Ranger guides will also be running a special New Year's Eve program to make sure the kids have a party all of their own with a campfire, night walk, lots of food, and a late night movie session.

So if you're ready to let your hair down, enjoy a great night with friends and family and welcome 2018 in style - join in Fraser Island's biggest party of the year at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

New Years Eve entertainment:

8pm - 1am DJ in the atrium of the main centre complex.

6pm - 2am Music at the Dingo Bar, and enjoy some cocktails with a New Year's twist.

Please note: Due to our location on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Great Sandy National Park, and a total fire ban on island, there will not be fireworks on Fraser Island.
