Adopting a shared platter concept using the finest produce from Queensland and select regions of Australia, dishes are designed to be mixed, matched and savoured by guests, complemented by a selection of small plates and sides.
Overlooking the resort’s main pool and a vista of native greenery, Sand & Wood is the perfect place to start your day. With a full buffet breakfast and espresso coffees available, you’ll be energised and ready to head out on a tour, explore the island, or simply sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
For those who prefer to ease into their day, there’ll be something to tempt your tastebuds throughout the afternoon. Small plates and poolside snacks include chili and sweet soy pulled beef bao buns, chargrilled octopus and chorizo skewers, house made truffle gnocchi or the Korean fried chicken burger.
Or if you’re after a lighter option, you can choose from the selection of fresh, gourmet salads.
After a day of sightseeing and island adventures, Sand & Wood offers the ideal atmosphere to unwind, kick back with a drink, and enjoy a delicious meal.
The evening menu includes an array of delectable dishes from King prawn platters and twice-cooked beef brisket, roasted cauliflower with zested hummus to the signature Seafood Tower, finishing the experience with mouth-watering desserts or a cheese platter to share.
Sand & Wood also has a great variety on our kids’ menus, from cheeseburgers to traditional favourites, such as fish and chips.
