KINGFISHER FERRY SERVICE

Kingfisher Ferry has 6 services to the resort each day from River Heads and return. This ferry has seating for 220 passengers on two decks with a fully licensed bar and snack food available. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. NOTE: Unless specified, ferry costs are not included in your resort room rate.

KINGFISHER PASSENGER AND VEHICLE FERRY CHECK IN LOCATION

Location: Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception
Address: Shop 7/54, River Heads Shopping Village, River Heads Road, River Heads, Queensland 4655. (Note: River Heads Road becomes Ariadne Street at the Shopping Village)

Guests are advised to arrive at the mainland reception 40 minutes prior to ferry departure for check in. A courtesy shuttle from the Mainland Reception to ferry will leave 10 minutes prior to ferry departure time.

Pre-booking passenger ferry or vehicle ferry transfers is recommended.

** Please note:  There are no Mainland Porter services to transfer guests to carpark facilities or for bus transfers to Hervey Bay available off the 2300 ferry departure.

FRASER ISLAND BARGES SERVICE

Fraser Island Barges run daily services to Wanggoolba Creek from River Heads. The journey is approximately 30 minutes.

Daily barge transfers are also available from Inskip Point at Rainbow Beach between dawn and dusk, landing at the most Southern tip of Fraser, Hook Point. Crossing time from Inskip Point takes approximately 10 minutes.

All transfers time are subject to changes without advance notice. Please check with reservations at the time of booking for the current schedule.
