9-16 August 2014: Australian Geographic Fraser Island Wilderness Art Workshop

Ever wanted to paint like an Australian Geographic artist? Learn how on Fraser Island this August.  The fourth Australian Geographic Wilderness Art Workshop, to be held on World Heritage listed Fraser Island - one of the most majestic and magical landscapes in Australia. 

The workshop will feature 'plein-air' painting and drawing, informative guided walks, early morning light and sunset colour excursions, studio work and slide presentations, all amongst spectacular rainforest, beaches, wildlife, lakes and views of largest sand island in the world. Host and workshop director John Morrison will be joined by tutor Ego Guiotto, longtime illustrator for Australian Geographic.

Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world and offers a diversity of environments, from rolling surf to sand dunes, rainforest and mangroves. Our expedition will offer artistic opportunities in all of these environments.
