David has managed the Group's Tours and Marine operations for a number of years and has been involved with tourism on the Fraser Coast in various roles.
He is a past Chairman of the Fraser Island World Heritage Area Community Advisory Committee which advises both the State and Federal Governments on matters concerning Fraser Island and remains an active member of this group. He is the current Chairman of Tourism Fraser Coast and has sat on this board for ten years.
In 2012 the decision was made to restructure Tourism Fraser Coast and a new entity - Fraser Coast Opportunities Limited - was created and will oversee economic development and tourism activities in region. David is currently Deputy Chair of Fraser Coast Opportunities.
David holds a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and has previously held management positions within the local Fraser Coast tourism and education industries.
