The newly-released ‘Avoid Event Turbulence*’ incentive bundles iconic conferencing and accommodation venues with Virgin Australia flights and fantastic Queensland destinations into one attractive package for PCOs and event planners.
Organisers who book and pay for 10 conference packages (accommodation, day delegate arrangements and flights) before February next year, will receive an 11th delegate package free of charge including complimentary room upgrade, use of Virgin Australia’s The Lounge, during the journey, complimentary delegate day package.
Business Development Manager, Leonie Belbin, said the island resort property had jumped at the chance to join the campaign.
“Fraser Island is such an iconic leisure destination,” she said, “But it is also very well set up for conference and incentive groups - we not only capitalise on the World Heritage-listed surrounds for break-out sessions, team building and day activities, but we also work to combat climate change with our carbon neutral program.”
“When it comes to events, the only limits to what we can do on Fraser Island are imagination and budget,” Ms Belbin said.
Event planners who book an Avoid Event Turbulence package on Fraser Island will also receive a complimentary room upgrade for VIPS and a cocktail party (complete with beverage package and canapés). Bookings must be made by 28 February 2015 for business held to 31 March 2015.

To kick start the business events season for 2014 the resort is offering a special Delegate Day Package from $55* per person, which includes room hire, morning/afternoon tea, lunch, chilled water, mints, basic audio visual and the expertise of an on-site meetings professional. Residential Packages start from $135* per person.
