One of Australia’s most well-known actors will team up with Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce to enjoy some sensational regional cuisine and raise money for charity at the biannual Kingfisher Bay Resort Long Lunch this month.

Frankie J. Holden began his career with the legendary rock group “OL’ 55 and has gone on to be recognised as one of our most versatile and popular performers.

He has created some of Australian televisions most memorable characters through leading roles in long-running serials: “Embassy” “Police Rescue” “Round the Twist”, “Something in the Air”, crime drama “Underbelly” and most recently “A Place to Call Home."

The award-winning actor and popular TV presenter has also hosted successful lifestyle programs including “The Great Outdoors”, “In Melbourne Tonight” and “What’s Up Down Under?”

A loveable and much-lauded Aussie larrikin, Frankie J is no stranger to Fraser Island and returns this winter to host a long lunch on at Kingfisher Bay Resort this Friday June 10. 

He joins an all-star alumni of past presenters including Kieran Perkins, Bill Woods and Michael Caton.

The event has sold-out with all profits raised from the event going to the Children's Charity "Variety" and towards the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce Verena Fletcher Award.
