It's A Real 'Fraser' Love Affair!

FRASER ISLAND: Little Fraser McCaughan will have no idea what all the fuss is about when he attends his naming ceremony on his namesake, Fraser Island, this coming Thursday… he’ll just enjoy the extra cuddles from his parents.

Fraser’s parents, Phaedra and Chris, became engaged at Eli Creek on a Kingfisher Bay Resort Beauty Spots day tour back in 2000; married on Fraser Island’s Sunset Beach back in 2009; and have returned year-after-year to celebrate their wedding anniversaries at the resort.

When their bub was born 12 months ago, the Victorian couple cemented their love affair with the island by calling him Fraser; and have returned to the resort this week for yet another milestone - their son’s birthday and naming ceremony.

“We both really love this part of the world and it has played such an important part of our lives, so calling our first born Fraser was simply meant to be,” Mum, Phaedra said.

And with Fraser’s birth date (25/10/12) now firmly entrenched on the family calendar, Phaedra says "the family now has an extra excuse to pop back up and visit the world's largest sand pit.”
