BEAUTIFUL BUSH
Younger children are taken on a bush scavenger hunt for nature's treasures. Older children do a longer bush walk, incorporating bird watching, tree-identification, first aid and bush survival.

LEGENDS OF FRASER
Younger children are involved in a story walk around the resort, helping to tell and act out Butchulla dreaming stories. Older children create and paint their own dreaming stories, and explore Fraser's history through drama. All children are taken on a "bush-tucker walk".

SENSES AND NON-SENSES
Younger children are taken on a blindfold walk through a variety of habitats and experience the environment through each of the senses. Older children are taken to the ropes course where they are challenged to get their team over the ropes without being attacked by "killer koalas" and "kangawallafoxes".

ANIMAL TRACKERS
Younger children find and follow traces of animals and make plaster casts of dingo paw prints. Older children follow birds, find out the secrets to flying and experiment with aerodynamics. Try out your luck making a nest!

EARTHKIDS
This program covers issues of conservation and recycling for children to discover ways they are able to help look after the earth and its inhabitants. Activities may include papermaking, nature walk, for older kids - cartoon drawing and designing own eco-business.

SLUGS, BUGS AND CREEPY CRAWLIES
Younger and older children alike are involved in making and setting traps to catch and observe the variety of invertebrates (creepy crawlies) around the resort. Can you design the most effective trap?

PONDS, STREAMS AND WET PLACES
Younger children take nets and buckets and discover life within the resort lakes. Older children catch and identify creatures and conduct testing on the lakes to help monitor information about the ecosystem.

MARINE ENVIRONMENTS
Younger children walk along the beach to Dundonga Creek, exploring the beach and mangrove environment. Older children explore by canoe (when canoe-trained staff is available), identify mangroves and explore the beach.
