FISHING CLINIC

Fisher folk from around the world come to Kingfisher Bay Resort to experience one of Australia's most rich and diverse fishing areas. The calm, sheltered island waters allow comfortable fishing with estuary, surf beach, reef and sport and game fishing all within easy reach of the resort. 

The thrill on smiling faces -  young and old - says it all during our novice Fishing Clinics – which offer up many a "happy moment"… once you’ve given it a go – you’ll be hooked!

RANGER-GUIDED CANOE PADDLE

On this tour you’ll set out with an experienced Ranger on an easy paddle from the Jetty to stunning Dundonga Creek. Over two fun-filled hours, you’ll learn about the importance of the beautiful mangrove colony with its eight species of mangrove. Feast your eyes on the sea birds and birds of prey, fish, rays, turtle, dolphin or dugong that happily share the space with you as you paddle through the calm waters.

WATERSPORTS

Take to the water on a catamaran or canoe and enjoy the fresh air and the best of the great outdoors. Our water sports program provides lots of fun and opportunities to learn about this very special island, without impacting on the environment. Jetty Hut staff are on hand with life jackets and expert advice to help you get the most out of your day.
