BIRD SIGHTING CHARTS       

Fraser Island’s diverse coastal, wetland and rainforest habitats support some 354-recorded bird species, including a number considered rare or vulnerable – which make both the island and ‘Bird Week’ a birder’s dream.  The island is home to the rarely seen Ground Parrot, Powerful Owl and some 18 birds of prey.
