Kingfisher Bay Resort - Fraser Island Accommodation

MARCH 22-24:  The 21st Kingfisher Bay Resort Regatta has been rescheduled and it promises to be better than ever!  The regatta, encompassing 18 monohulls, multihulls and cruising yachts, will be held over three action-packed days, with the first race being held from Urangan to Kingfisher Bay Resort from the 22 of March.

Every March, thousands of people around Australia shave, colour and wax their hair to raise much-needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. It's one of Australia's biggest fundraising events... and we were absolutely chuffed to have our 'Cheeky Chicks' take part of it on Fraser Island.

You could be forgiven for doing a double-take... but come February 23, Queenslanders will celebrate Australia Day II and it promises to be double the fun the second time around.  This time we don't have a public holiday, you can still pick up a great rate of the day and come stay for the weekend!

The regatta has been postponed due to current weather conditions. Sailors on the Fraser Coast will unite early in the new year for the 21st annual Kingfisher Regatta.
