For the kids…
Learning can be a wild experience on Fraser Island - just ask our Junior Eco Rangers! These fun and informative sessions teach children to care for the environment.
Activities include:
• Learning about mangrove colonies and inter-tidal zones
• Playing environmentally themed games
• Low ropes course and canoeing
• Leaf identification
• Bush and beach walks
• Sand sculpture, art and craft
• Campfire songs and telling of Aboriginal legends
• Spotlighting for bats, sugar gliders and frogs
• Stargazing.
During school holidays the Junior Eco Ranger programs run daily and this year will run from Good Friday (March 29) until Monday, April 29. The afternoon programs rotate so please see your What's On Guide for additional details.
The Great Fraser Easter Egg Hunt is on...
Easter Sunday wouldn’t be Easter without a special appearance from the Easter Bunny who, under the cover of night, will be hiding Easter Eggs in and around the resort grounds and poolside for a special children’s Easter Egg hunt. Join our Ranger team at 11am as we search high, low and everywhere in between for those elusive eggs. Check out What's On Guide for details.
