Join the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce and one of Australia’s much lauded larrikins, Michael Caton, for an afternoon of good food and great yarns on the world’s largest sand island - Fraser Island.

Born in Monto in Queensland, Michael is an acclaimed Aussie Actor – perhaps best known for his roles as Uncle Harry in the long running Australian TV series, The Sullivan’ and as Darryl Kerrigan in the 1990s low budget hit The Castle. Most recently, he’s been gracing our screens in Channel Seven’s popular Packed to the Rafters Television show.

When: Friday, 26 April 2013
Where: Kingfisher Bay Resort's Ballroom
Private Charter: 1200 noon departure from Urangan aboard the Spirit of Hervey Bay; returning to the mainland at 1800
Time: 1300 start
Cost: $100 for members; $120 for non-members; $1000 per table of ten

Lunch tickets include private charter transfers from Urangan to Kingfisher at 1130 aboard The Spirit of Hervey Bay (the return launch leaves the resort at 1715), a two-course luncheon (entree and main), with Michael Caton as special guest speaker and a three hour beverage package (consisting of basic beers and house wine).
