The Regatta is open to all trailer sailors, keeled yachts and a passage race. To celebrate Australia Day, there will be 'beer and prawns' available at Kingfisher Bay's Dingo Den (on the southern side of the jetty, inside the Dingo fence) from 4pm for all competitors. Australia Day dress is welcomed.
Races generally start at 10am for interested spectators. Two races will be sailed on Saturday, Jan 26th and Sunday, Jan 27th and the trophy presentation will be held on the Monday evening (the 28th) at the resort’s Sand Bar. A fun handicap race will be held on the last day from Kingfisher Bay Resort to Urangan, marking the final event in the regatta.
Competitors may choose to stay on their yachts, anchored in front of the resort and the Sand Bar and amenities will be available for all competitors to use. Discounted accommodation is available for competitors.
