Kingfisher Bay’s popular dinner cruises have been a regular feature on Hervey Bay’s dining calendar and offer a great night out on Fraser Island. Your night starts with a cruise across the Great Sandy Strait (and glimpses of our famous mango-coloured sunsets) followed by dinner, at your choice of the Maheno, Seabelle or The Sand Bar on the world’s largest sand island.
- SAT NIGHT ONLY - Dining out in Maheno is a regional affair, with locally-sourced and home-grown produce very much the order of the day. On Saturday nights, we offer an all-you-can-eat Seafood buffet with hot and cold seasonal dishes, vegetarian options and a smorgasboard of cheese and delectable desserts with fast cat departures ex Urangan Harbor on Saturday only from 1730. Adults $79pp Children $35pp (or pop the kids in to Junior Eco Rangers instead of the buffet).
- MID WEEK - Your evening in our signature restaurant, Seabelle, starts with bush tucker-inspired canapes and complimentary wine on arrival at the restaurant. Choose to dine deck side or soak up the atmosphere of our 'chefs in the round' kitchen inside. Seabelle offers a unique fusion of modern Australian cuisine with a bush tucker twist. Adults $79pp (two-course selected ala carte). Ferry departures ex River Heads. Courtesy pick ups from you Hervey Bay accommodation provider are also included.
- EVERY NIGHT - Combine The Sand Bar's casual bistro dining with it's great location and you have the recipe for a good night out. The Sand Bar's spacious decks offer glimpses of the Great Sandy Strait - it's the perfect place to relax with a drink whilst the kids have a swim. Adults $49pp Children $20pp (set menu). Ferry departures ex River Heads. Courtesy pick ups from you Hervey Bay accommodation provider are also included.
It's also a great experience for visiting friends and relatives into Hervey Bay. Dinner cruises (excluding our Saturday night seafood cruise) depart River Heads at 1530 and return at either 2030 or 2300. Courtesy picks ups are available from your Hervey Bay accommodation provider.
