A NIGHT OUT IN WORLD HERITAGE WILDERNESS
Forget booking a baby-sitter or asking your parents to mind the kids next time you want to eat out, treat the family instead to a night out with three delicious dining options on fabulous Fraser Island and ask us about the Junior Eco Rangers' options for kids.
Take advantage of the long summer nights ahead with a cruise across the Great Sandy Strait and dinner on the world’s largest sand island.
Kingfisher Bay’s popular dinner cruises have been a regular feature on Hervey Bay’s dining calendar and with summer here, we’ve decided to extend them from Thursday to Sunday at the Maheno buffet restaurant – where resort chefs have prepared a veritable feast using fresh local produce.
Friday and Saturday nights are Seafood Buffet night and Maheno won’t disappoint. Tickets on these nights are priced at $79 for adults and $35 for children and include return walk-on ferry transfers. Thursday is ‘Fraser Island Feast’ night and Sunday is home to the ‘Traditional Roast’ buffet – both are priced at $65 for adults and $30 for children and all include walk-on ferry transfers. And, as an added bonus, kids aged 5-14 can join our Junior Eco Rangers program, during the summer holidays, for free^.
YOUR NIGHT OUT begins at 3.30pm (or earlier if you prefer) with a leisurely, trip from River Heads across the Great Sandy Strait enroute to Fraser Island. A courtesy coach picks up at Urangan Boat Harbour or street parking is available near the River Heads Mainland Reception.
To book call Kingfisher Bay's Reservations team on 1800 072 555 (toll free within Australia) or +61 7 4120 3333.
